low cost electricity from feed in tarrif sources

I have made a government e-petition to make your feed in tariff provider can only charge you the export rate for power you can't produce this would encourage the up take of all the feedin tariff sources wind solar hydro and micro combined heat and power .since you only get about four pence for exported power but you get charged between twelve and sixteen pence .if this was introduced you would save eigth to twelve pence per kwh.

I don't see that happening any time soon. The cost agreed for the Fit sort of represents the average wholesale cost of buying bulk enormous quantities of electricity. To that they have to add the cost of transmission, administration, green taxes, vat and profit.

We are basically small scale generation companies. We don't supply hundreds or thousands of kWhs, so we don't enjoy the economy of scale.

More would be good, but I don't see that as a viable option.
