How do I subscribe to the reports section of the site

Hi guys,

I am missing the reports and things like the questionnaire unless I keep checking back to the site, is there a way of subscribing to it and get an email automatically each time something is posted like in the forum?

Same with the map updates.

Many thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

This is a good suggestion. I'll add it to the list of site improvements.

Thanks Aldous, checking back I see you have implemented the request. Is the map data subscription coming as well?

Pleasure, Kevin. I did mean to respond, so apologies for that. I'll add the suggestion for notification for map updates to the enhancements list.

How do I subscribe to the reports section of the site

Hi,

I have just looked back into getting all new forum posts and although you might not be able to get an email about it you can use an RSS reader to get the latest posts. I put http://www.microgen-database.org.uk/forum/ into Feedly and it gave me the option to subscribe to the “Latest Posts On Forum”. That will then show all posts whether you have subscribed to them or not.

Would still like a way of doing the same with the map data.

How do I subscribe to the reports section of the site

Hello rogerhoward and Kevin,

We are still here. I appreciate that things have been a little quiet from us recently. We have been focussing on a project which we have recently started with the National Grid. We will be posting an update on this to the website soon.

With regard to the query originally posted in this thread, there is a way to subscribe to News and Reports. If you click the ‘My Account’ link at the top right of the page, you will be given the option to receive notifications from the news and reports section of the website (see attached image).

Hello Aldous,
I note your 19-10-15 note re National Grid Project.
In interim, a short query-where can I find data on monthly horizontal irradiation which you use in calculating PR etc ?
Any help appreciate.
Regards, Alan W.

Hi Alan,
If you navigate to the ‘Maps’ page there is a drop down box for ‘Report type’. Select this box and you will see the option to display ‘Horizontal solar irradiance’ (see the link below). I believe that this is what you are looking for.
