Sunamp Heat Batteries - storage of excess generation for heating and hot water.

Just to be open and above board I work for Sunamp.

In case you don't know how a Heat Battery works, it uses Latent Heat from a Phase Change material to store energy that might have otherwise been sent back to the grid to then use on demand at a later time.

The food grade salt is heated to 62C and during the process the salt changes from a solid or frozen state to liquid or molten. The salt surrounds a plate heat exchanger and when cold mains water flows through it is instantly heated to 58C ready for heating or hot water.
