Hi Steve,

Yes, I've had one installed for about a year. If you hadn't got any other monitoring system it's pretty good, it's main selling point is that it can work out which appliance is using what. I've had varying success with it. It identifies loads of appliances but you have to work out what it is. I found it quite time consuming and they didn't all add up. I spent time getting the big energy appliances set up but still ended up with 15 odd appliances which I haven't identified. I do really like the plugs that come with them. I am half way through writing a blog post about it, must get it finished.

I know also https://ecoisme.com . I have booked one, as i know it's also home energy monitor that tells you how much energy your home appliances use and how much money you are spending on them.

Be warned that some IT savvy people have found out some types of WiFi controlled socket switches relay information to servers of their (Chinese) manufacturers. Since most of these are on your home network, behind any firewall you or your provider might have installed, this is a major IT security risk.
